ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

ACCESSIBLE BY DESIGN.

X112 aims to make x112.net usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies.

Our approach

The website is designed with the accessibility principles reflected in the European standard EN 301 549 v3.2.1 and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We also apply relevant WCAG 2.2 good practices where practical. This statement does not represent a claim of independently certified conformity.

We aim to support 200% zoom and responsive reflow, keyboard navigation, visible keyboard focus, semantic page structure, labelled form controls, sufficient colour contrast, accessible interactive targets, and reduced-motion preferences.

Compatibility

X112.net is built with standard HTML, CSS and JavaScript and is intended to work with current versions of major browsers and their built-in accessibility technologies. Because combinations of browsers, devices and assistive technologies vary, some limitations may remain.

Known limitations and review

The website is evolving and has not yet undergone an independent full EN 301 549 accessibility audit. Third-party or externally hosted content may not always provide the same level of accessibility. We review the site as content and functionality are updated.

Feedback

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, use the X112 enquiry form and identify the page or function concerned. We will review the issue and, where reasonably possible, provide the information or service in an accessible alternative.
